Private Classes

Private instructions are offered to students of all ages and levels.

Private instructions provide an individually tailored curriculum for a great opportunity to learn to play an instrument or to continue building on existing knowledge and skill levels.

Students learn technique, music interpretation and repertoire, music theory, duets/ensembles and improvisation, as well as discipline and efficient practicing tools. Lessons include an array of traditional methods carefully chosen by the teacher to meet individual goals and needs.

Many opportunities are available to students who want to perform: Keys for Kids holds semiannual studio Recitals (winter and spring), a studio Showcase concert, and a Piano Proficiency Evaluation for interested students. Additional opportunities include various local and national competitions and evaluations.

New students are welcome throughout the year whenever space is available.

Each student is matched with the compatible teacher after an initial placement interview.
